CITIZEN Zenshin Senkei Super Titanium™

Zenshin - in Japanese, this means progress, improvement or advancement.  This was precisely the aspiration behind the world's first titanium watch, which Citizen presented in 1970.

And it was this same philosophy that led to exceptional manufacturing expertise and in-house developments such as Super Titanium™ and Duratect over the following 55 years. At Citizen, these in an especially durable watch made of titanium are suitable for everyday use - they are light, hypoallergenic, robust and scratch-resistant.

This year's chronograph models in Super Titanium™ also feature more edges, a new dial design and a new size. Senkei in Japanese means “clear lines”. They are available in black, blue, green and white. The diameter is 41 mm.

And on this model CA4690-51E the small seconds - as a totalizer (sub-dial) above the “6” - has a special feature that makes it special: Depending on the dial variant, the small second is in the contrasting color white or black.

This allows better allocation and differentiation from the chronograph totalizers at the “3” and “9 o'clock” positions.

Inside the watch runs the in-house Eco-Drive caliber B620 with solar power. When fully charged, it has a power reserve of nine months. The accuracy tolerance is +/- 15 seconds per month.

The new stylish chronograph watches made from Super Titanium™ also have a scratch-resistant sapphire glass and are water-resistant to 10 bar.
